Lathyrus sativus is a legume. It is also known as grass pea, blue sweet pea, chickling vetch, Indian pea, Indian vetch, white vetch, almorta or alverjón (Spain), guixa (Catalonia), cicerchia (Italy), guaya (Ethiopia), and khesari (India).
Use like other pulses. Soak for a night, then cook 50-60 minute.
